The beauty of Malaysia is when all of us celebrate different festivals together. We celebrate the red during Chinese New Year, green during Hari Raya, purple during Deepavali, the snowy white during Christmas and many other big and small festivals in Malaysia.
Last weekend, I was in Aeon Bukit Tinggi, Klang for some shopping.

It was exactly 2 months before CNY 2011 (Chinese New Year), the artists started promoting their CNY songs already. While Xmas 2010 is not over yet and I'm still enjoying the Xmas songs, they entered the mall with all the 'ping pang, tong chiang' songs which broke the peaceful xmas. I was totally confused.

CNY Reunion 178 for CNY 2011 |
It has been a culture of Malaysian media to release a CNY album in the recent years. Every year, these tv and radio stations will collaborate to come up with CNY songs. It is sad that these songs are only meant for CNY which lasts for less than 1 month especially those songs with chinese zodiac which is exclusive for that particular year. However, consumers continue to buy. When there's demand, there's supply. [Malaysian, please support genuine copies ya. If you think it's expensive, just stay tuned on the tv or radio. :P ]
Oh ya, no photos of the artists who came to promote because......there were lots of people watching and the short Rachel didn't manage to snap pictures. Sorry.
To name some of the artists who came that day:
OneFM:
Nicholas 翁书尉 (the only one)
8tv:
Gary 叶俊岑,
Rickman 謝承偉,
Orange 陳慧恬, ...
ntv7:
William 辛伟廉, ...
Sorry, I don't know some of them.
Rachel says: Merry Xmas and a happy new year [& Happy CNY, tong chiang!]
