My Aquaria Story

Best Blogger Tips

It was a sunny Saturday. Anyway, it doesnt matter as the aquaria is an indoor actovaty. We were happy because we bought entrance tickets at a lower price. They were offering special price online, so we bought our tickets at RM28.
It was quite a long queue at the ticketing counter. However, we didn't waited for too long...around 10 minutes or so...maybe we are just too excited to see the fishes. :D

The following will be the preview of what to expect there!

"This small little creature is playful and fast. Didn't managed to get any handsome picture of them."

"Seen this big guy anywhere before? This is a water rat. Similar to the rodents in houses, but these fellas can swim and they are huge. The size of an adult Shih Tzu."

"These are Moon Jellyfish"

Note: Remember to check the feeding time from their website! Don't be surprised with the fishes' behaviours when it comes to eating!

Destination: Aquaria KLCC http://www.aquariaklcc.com/
"Aquaria KLCC is situated in the same building as the KL Convention Centre."
Entrance fee: Adult RM38 (MyKad holders)
Tour duration: approximately 1 hr 30 mins

Makan-makan: The Burger Shop

Best Blogger Tips
Craving for some burger for supper?

Here's one good one.
As recommended by Razif from 8tv's Best in the World!
Check out the menu. A long one.

Don't know how it looks like? Check out it's catalogues >.<
Don't know which to choose?

Try Mushroom Burger (right). The superstar of The Burger Shop. Another burger we tried that night was Black Pepper Lamb Burger; it was good as well.

The mushroom burger was really good. The sauce was thick and served with mushroom slices. HMM! Gorgeous. It may look undelicious and unappetizing but it really tastes good. Oh ya. You will end up with sauces all over the place, from your face to your fingers and you may want to lick up all the dripping sauces. HMM!
My mum was shocked when she saw us eating and curiously asked "Why is the sauce separated from the burger?"
Hahaha..it's actually dripped sauce from the burger, mom!

Anyway, some called it Burger Banjir. So, I guess, everyone has the same (fun) experience enjoying the famous burger near Asia Cafe.

Makan-makan: Meng Kee Char Siew

Best Blogger Tips
Dear Char Siew Lovers,

This is the best Char Siew I ever tasted so far. The best! Present to you, Meng Kee Char Siew.

Sausage on the top left, char siew in the middle and fresh cucumbers.

Soft and juicy in the inside, crunchy in the outside. The sauce was perfect and the char siew was well grilled. The first bite made me go HMMM...and it goes on and on till the last bite. *SLURPS*

Anyhow, each plate costs RM8. Pretty expensive, but I think it's worth every penny. *Thumbs up!!*
MUST TRY

Makan-makan: Gong-Cha

Best Blogger Tips
More Pearl Milk Tea franchises in town. It may not be new, but more and more in shopping complexes.

While Chatime is expanding their outlet on monthly basis, Gong Cha is also being seen in town.

Look at the queue........
Green Tea with pearl (left) and Winter Melon Tea with white pearl (right) [RM5.90 +RM2{white pearl}]

I tried both, Gong Cha and Chatime. And this is my conclusion.
In terms of variety, Chatime wins it all. Chatime has over 50 choices while Gong Cha is more limited.
In terms of pearl, Chatime wins the game. Chatime's pearl is more chewy.

HOWEVER, Gong Cha tastes good if you want to try something new. The white layer at the top of the cup, that's the so called 'milk moustache'. It tastes a little bit of sourish which I first thought it was tasteless.
Next, the white pearl. The white pearl actually tastes like nata de coco but it wasnt as chewy as the nata de coco. Not sure what was tat but it is definitely worth trying.
If you like milky tea, Gong Cha will be your favourite. Once you stir the tea and the milk together, you will get a completely different taste from the same cup of beverage. You will know what I mean once you try one. Check out the 3-rules of Gong-Cha.
